Spring Football - Links Roundup

Not too much going on as of late in Rutgers land, but here are some newsworthy links from around the web:

  • One of new AD Tim Pernetti's top priorities will be fundraising for the athletic department, especially for the Rutgers Stadium expansion.
  • Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano will be leading a coaches clinic at Rutgers Stadium this weekend.
  • Mason Robinson has switched to WR, at least for the time being.  With blazing speed and game experience, it could be a stroke of genius by Schiano.

That's it for the time being.  We're going to have some spring time questions to answer coming up in the next few days.  Stay tuned!

interesting

i really like the move of putting mason robinson at wide receiver. I was starting to feel bad for him as I felt that he would be the lost guy in the shuffle next year with martinek, brooks, and KY ahead of him.

this way, hopefully he can get some playing time at the slot receiver or something.

I agree

We have a stable of horses at RB with Brooks, Martinek, and Young. Putting Robinson at WR where we have few, if any, options is a good move. Gives us another chance to get the ball into the hands of a playmaker.

Ehhh . . .

I’m not necessarily opposed to the move, but are you sure it’s "Schiano’s genius" or actually the collective realization that there is absolutely zero depth at WR?

hmmm

That’s odd. What exactly is happening? You may just have to add the blog to your SBnation list of blogs, that’s all.
