Rutgers returns home to the RAC after Tuesday's humiliating 82-59 loss to Marquette.  The Scarlet Knights are in the midst of a 9 game losing streak that has dropped them to 9-11 overall and 0-8 in Big East play.  Rutgers desperately needs a win as talk starts to build around this team being the worst in Big East history.

Notre Dame comes in at 15-6, 4-4 in the Big East.  Notre Dame has dropped 3 of their last 4 outings, and will look to right the ship behind Player of the Year candidate Luke Harangody who leads the Big East in scoring with 24.5 points per game, and grabs nearly 10 rebounds per game as well.

Rutgers is 11-16 all-time against the Fighting Irish, but sports a 7-3 record in games played at the RAC.  To win today's game, the Scarlet Knights will need to focus on taking away Luke Harangody, and make his other teammates like Tim Abromaitis and Tyrone Nash beat the Knights.

Let's take a look at some of the key stats for tonights game:

Tonights game is set for a 6:00 PM tip, and will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

Notre Dame has not been on the road much this year (only 4 road games out of 21 total), and their only win on the road was a victory at South Florida.  If Rutgers can keep the game close early and get the crowd into the game, this could be their chance for their first victory of the season.  For some reason I can see Mike Rosario getting hot in this game, and fueling Rutgers to an upset victory.  I'm going with my gut on this one.
